Manchester's Tangled has been heralding the progressive sound since the early nineties, when the first wave of progressive house first found its way onto the dancefloors.
Unlike all the other progressive nights that sprung up around that time only to vanish once the fad had faded, Tangled survived.
It may not be the most talked about progressive night in the UK, or even the biggest, but with nine (sic) candles to be blown out at its next birthday, it certainly rates as being one of the longest running. Oh yes, and one of the best.
